Please explain this site.

This is the personal website of Jason Yergeau. The format is inspired by Ray Johnson:

I’ve got a big pile of things at home which will make moticos. They’re really collages--paste-ups of pictures and pieces of paper, and so on--but that sounds too much like what they really are, so I call them moticos. It’s a good word because it’s both singular and plural and you can pronounce it how you like. However I’m going to get a new word soon.

Does that mean you mail things?

Yes. If you would like to learn more, please join the mailing list which helps me coordinate distribution. I will not share your address with anyone, and any SPAM received will be personally signed and in character.

Unsubscribing is two click process and I will not take it personally. If I curse, it's because I drink too much, which you should also not take personally. Otherwise, everything else is personal.

Your site is incompatible with Google Reader.

The word "blog" is young and the definition isn't entirely stable, but lately it suggests an informal website with common site features such as comments, RSS feeds, and links similar or interesting comment. In that case, this is not a blog.

How can I contact you?

I'm pretty good about email. It's jason@storybynumbers.com.
